Business
Michael founded American Clinical Supplies,
Inc. in February 2005. The company provides
patients with durable medical equipment and
supplies at competitive prices. American
Clinical Supplies, Inc. also branched out into ACS Pharmaceuticals, Inc. which markets and
distributes pharmaceutical products both
commercial and compounded. American Clinical
Supplies, Inc. was one of the first companies in
the United States to begin compounding prefilled
syringes of Avastin for treatment of Macular
Degeneration. A low cost alternative to
Lucentis which costs $2,000 per injection.
Michael helped with the establishment of Retinalysis.com, a company developed to
streamline patient care services with eye
diseases. Many physicians, with high diabetic
volumes, enjoy such a service because of the
high percentage of noncompliant diabetic
patients. This process involves a non-mydriatic
camera and simple networking to the website www.retinalysis.com where a contracted retinal
specialist interprets and grades retinal
photographs.
Michael founded Vision America Eye Care in 2007.
The company provides a wide variety of services.
Optometrists on staff provide eye examinations
to assess for diabetes, macular degeneration,
and hypertensive retinopathy. Optometrists
on staff also treat eye diseases such as
glaucoma, dry eyes, conjunctivitis and other eye
emergencies. Vision America Eye Care also
provides competitive pricing for a wide variety
of eye wear and contact lenses. The company is
currently conducting business at 8118 N. Milwaukee,
Suite 101 Niles, IL and 5301 W. Touhy, Skokie, IL, and has plans to open offices
in Crystal Lake, IL, Naperville, IL, and
Northbrook, IL. |
